We're heading out for some great North Shore diving, come along and explore the shipwrecks and rock formations of Minnesota's inland Sea.
These trips are two-days with at least 2 dives per day. Snacks and drinks will be provided for a relaxing SIT between dives.
All buddy teams must dive with a flag (not supplied).
The north shore of Lake Superior offers so many opportunities for divers that you can dive every weekend and not dive the same site. Smith Diving trips to the north shore may dive, Brighton Beach, the Madeira or Hesper shipwrecks, Gooseberry River, Pebble Beach or any number of locations. You'll meet your divemaster at the Ranger Station of Split Rock State Park for check-in at 10:00 on Saturday. We'll start off at the Madeira site on Saturday (weather permitting), and then decide as a group where to go next.
Anyone wishing to dive the Madiera site must register with the Rangers at Split Rock State Park at least once per season. They WILL need to see your c-card.
Divers are welcome to sign up for the whole weekend or just one day.
Lodging is not included in the price for the weekend. You should make plans early for campgrounds or hotel stays as they fill up quickly along the North Shore. If you need any help finding a place to stay, you can check out some possibilities for lodging in the download area of this site.
