Scuba Diver Refresher

Course Description

If it's been awhile since you were scuba diving, we recommend that you take a refresher course before your next dive. Certified divers can use a refresher session to:

Sharpen your skills prior to annual dive trip
Test new and used personal equipment
Regain confidence with basic scuba skills
Develop an edge for more advanced diving

The Smith Diving Refresher Scuba Course is available to certified scuba divers, regardless of agency affiliation. Simply bring your certification card and log book to the classroom.
This class is limited to 6 students maximum.

Classroom Training (Optional)

(1 two hour session)

Update on current safe diving practices and recommendations
Review buoyancy control techniques
Review of dive planning & buddy skills
Review of the Dive Tables
Review of equipment assembly & care

Pool Training

(1 two hour session)

Review of equipment use
Review of basic scuba skills
Review basic buoyancy control techniques

Course Prerequisites

Certification Card
Diving Log Book

Full refresher class (classroom & pool) - $75.00
Pool refresher only - $40.00

All courses meet at Smith Diving for Classroom and travel a short distance for Pool work.
