This course is designed to train and educate the general public in the techniques of using oxygen as first aid for a suspected dive injury. In addition this course will introduce students to the fundamentals of recognizing diving injury warning signs, response and management.
This course is required for NAUI Rescue Diver and NAUI Leadership Certifications.

The subjects covered during the course will include general diving anatomy, physiology, and physics, the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, recognizing signs & symptoms, the benefits and hazards of oxygen, and oxygen equipment assembly, use & maintenance
